About Buck Brothers 9 inch sole bench planes

Buck Brothers was an American edge-tool firm in Millbury, Massachusetts, founded by English-born brothers in the nineteenth century, and the name also appears on English tools sold under a London Buck mark. Chisels and gouges dominate the output, including crank-neck patterns and V parting tools for carving. Boxed examples, socket and firmer patterns with crisp stamps, and unbroken handles bring more; regrinding, shortened blades, and replaced handles cut value. Woodenware such as beech and lignum vitae planes and brass-back saws turns on tightness and clear marks.
