About Hart
Hart is an American toolmaker whose name appears on carpenters' hammers and on heavy edge tools aimed at timber framers; the brand has also been used in recent years on cordless power tools, which accounts for the reciprocating saw. Among hand tools the framing and trimmer hammers are the core of the output, alongside long framing chisels, corner chisels and draw knives. Larger chisels such as the 2 by 18 inch pattern, clean unpitted steel, sound handles, intact original edges and marked heads support value; regrinding, chipped edges, replaced handles or a missing battery on the power tools pull it down.
