About Bridge City calipers

Bridge City Tool Works is an American maker started in Portland, Oregon by John Economaki, producing limited runs of layout and precision tools rather than production-line hardware. Squares, bevel gauges and marking gauges dominate the output, and the sample shows the same approach applied to planes with the CT-8, CT-10 and CT-12 and to the Jointmaker Pro saw. Condition and completeness drive value here: original boxes, walnut presentation cases, paperwork and serial numbers matter, as do rosewood and brass fittings. Tools with scratched soles, missing cases or replaced blades sit well below mint, boxed examples.

The 9 sales behind these figures come from Jim Bode Value Guide (6), Jim Bode Tools (2) and Michael Rouillard Antique Tools (1), and run from 2022 to 2026; 7 closed in the last twelve months.
