About Buck Brothers 1/4 inch chisels
Buck Brothers was an American edge-tool firm in Millbury, Massachusetts, founded by English-born brothers in the nineteenth century, and the name also appears on English tools sold under a London Buck mark. Chisels and gouges dominate the output, including crank-neck patterns and V parting tools for carving. Boxed examples, socket and firmer patterns with crisp stamps, and unbroken handles bring more; regrinding, shortened blades, and replaced handles cut value. Woodenware such as beech and lignum vitae planes and brass-back saws turns on tightness and clear marks.
The 12 sales behind these figures come from Jim Bode Value Guide (10), Hyperkitten (1) and Jim Bode Tools (1), and run from 2020 to 2026; 3 closed in the last twelve months.
