About Footprint chisels

Footprint Tools is a Sheffield, England maker whose edge tools and wrenches have been sold through the trade from the twentieth century to the present. Bevel edge chisels are the core of the line, and the long thin paring chisels here represent the pattern with the most interest among woodworkers. Wide sizes such as 1 1/2 inch and long paring blades bring more than common bench widths, and unused examples still in their boxes, along with brass back dovetail saws and the No. 150A hand drill, carry a premium over used tools with shortened blades, regrinds, or replaced handles.
