About Delta DP-220 drill presses

Delta is an American machinery maker, based for much of the twentieth century in Milwaukee and later Pittsburgh, and its tools were sold under the Rockwell name during the years Rockwell owned the company. It built the stationary machines a small shop needs: table saws, band saws, drill presses, jointers, shapers and scroll saws, which is what turns up here alongside the 14-inch and 8-inch band saws and the 31-780 BOSS spindle sander. Older cast-iron machines made in the USA, particularly the 14-inch band saw and the Unisaw, hold value better than the lighter Shopmaster-grade models. Condition of the trunnions, fence and motor matters most, and a machine sells better with its original fence, miter gauge, guards and stand rather than as a bare casting.
