SawStop is an American manufacturer of table saws built around a blade brake that stops the blade on contact with skin. Its line runs from the compact CTS and jobsite models up through the contractor saw, the Professional Cabinet Saw, and the heavier Industrial Cabinet Saw, so a PCS or a 10-inch cabinet saw sits well above a CTS in value. Motor rating and voltage matter, as does completeness: original fence, rails, blade guard and riving knife, dust collection, extension wing or router table, and a working brake cartridge. A mobile base adds value; missing guards, a fired cartridge, or a rusted top subtract.
