About WoodRiver drill bits

WoodRiver is the house tool brand of the American retailer Woodcraft, with its planes manufactured overseas in recent decades. The line is built around Bedrock-pattern bench planes in the familiar Stanley numbering, from the tiny No. 1 through the No. 4 and No. 4 1/2 smoothers, alongside bronze block and rabbet planes such as the No. 100, No. 100 1/2 squirrel-tail and No. 102, plus a few marking gauges. Value follows condition and completeness: mint or unused examples with the original box hold up best, and the small No. 1, the wider 4 1/2, and the bronze-bodied castings sit above the common sizes.
