These are different markets, not a contradiction. Dealers list restored, checked tools and price accordingly; marketplaces carry everything from collector-grade down to parts. Compare within a row, not across the table.

About Millers Falls auger bits

Millers Falls was an American tool company based in Massachusetts, active from the late 19th century through much of the 20th. It is best known for hand drills and braces, and for a bench plane line numbered along Stanley lines, with the No. 9 as a smoother and the No. 14 as a jack; boring machines, expansive bits and Langdon miter boxes round out the range. Condition of japanning and plating drives value, as does completeness, correct cutters for expansive bits like the No. 48, uncommon sizes such as the No. 11 junior jack, and original boxes.

The 7 sales behind these figures come from Ted Dawson Antique Tools (4) and Jim Bode Value Guide (3), and run from 2021 to 2026; 2 closed in the last twelve months. 2 listings for sets, pairs or lots of Millers Falls auger bits were left out, because a set's price is not one tool's price.
